ATMA – Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS)

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conducts a national level entrance exam four times in a year that is known as ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions). It is conducted in the month of February, May, July, and August.

It is one of the powerful bodies of B-schools in India. It has over 600 institutes as its member. Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is formed in 1988. It is an excellent platform for the candidates to get admission in the best B- Schools of India. It has many institutes as its associates which takes ATMA score as a base for the MBA or other management programmes.

Pattern and other Highlights

ATMA is an online computer-based exam. More than 200 institutes who take the score of ATMA for MBA and other courses are in prime cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and other prominent cities. Some of the top MBA colleges which accept ATMA are IFIM Bangalore, Patil in Pune, PUMBA Mumbai, DSIMS Mumbai, FIIB New Delhi.

  1. ATMA is an online computer-based exam.
  2. Duration of the exam is 180 minutes.
  3. The total number of questions asked 180 i.e. candidate will get one minute for each question.
  4. All questions are multiple choices having four options as answer out which one is correct.
  5. One mark is awarded for each correct answer whereas 0.25 a mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
  6. ATMA offers courses in MBA, PGDM, MCA, PGDBA
  7. The test is conducted in 27 cities around the country.
  8. AMTA is conducted four times in a year in the month of Feb, May, July and August.
  9. The syllabus is approximately the same as other management entrance examinations.
  10. The Syllabus is divided into six sections.
  11. Analytical Reasoning -1  30 questions
    Verbal Skill -1  30 questions
    Quantitative skills -1  30  questions
    Analytical Reasoning -2  30 questions
    Verbal Skill -2  30 questions
    Quantitative skills -2  30  questions

Eligibility

  1. The minimum qualification for admission through ATMA is graduation from any recognized university or institute.
  2. A candidate who has done graduation from any stream can apply.
  3. There is no restriction of the minimum percentage of marks.
  4. The minimum age to apply for the exam is 21 years.
  5. No upper age limit for the applicants.

 

Important Dates

The second exam of ATMA is conducted in July and the result is out on 10th July 2020. This exam was held on 6th July.

3rd session dates are yet to be announced by AIMS.

  1. Valid Email Id for receiving OTP or other registration information and other updates related to the ATMA exam.
  2. DOB candidate has to fill his valid date of birth for registration.
  3. Valid phone number to receive OTP.
