Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the main organizing body that organizes the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

Candidate can register for GMAT just after 16 days of appearing in the exam & can give the exam five times in a year. It is an international level entrance exam which is held round the year.

Candidates have to be very careful during the selection of the date and day of examination. He/ She should register and choose a date in such a way that he should get ample time for the preparation.

GMAT score is also considered by most of the B-schools for management programmes. Aspirants who are interested to pursue MBA or other Post Graduate programme in management can fill their form by visiting the official website of GMAT.

GMAT is the most acceptable entrance exam for PG courses in management all over the world, almost all global admissions accept GMAT scores.

GMAT pattern

The patter of exam and syllabus of GMAT is same as most of the other entrance test conducted in India for management programmes, It has four sections where the questions were asked since GMAT is a computer adaptive exam its algorithm choose the questions on the basis of candidates ability from easy to difficult. If a candidate is giving a true answer for all question easy questions than the computer algorithm increases the difficulty level for better judgment.

The content of the GMAT is divided into four sections, two of which are scored separately and two are also scored separately but combined later to generate a composite score.

GMAT is a kind of exam that can be taken round the year. A candidate who wishes to appear in this exam can register any time during the year. He/she can appear five times in a year based on his preparation and suitability of time. This GMAT is conducted in 17 centers across the country.

 

Fee payment

Fee for registration for GMAT – $250 (Rs.17700/- in Indian currency)

Fee can be paid using credit/Debit card or net banking.
