Common Admission Test (CAT)

Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by the IIMs on the rotation basis.  Every year any of the IIM gets the chance to conduct this examination. Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most prestigious exam in India. Most of the colleges and reputed MBA colleges and institutes take the score of the CAT exam for admission. It is a computer-based test.

The competition for the Common Admission Test (CAT) requires a lot of effort and regular study. Aspirants have to groom themselves as this exam wants lots of smart and hard work.

It is organized for admission in 19 Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and different B-schools situated across the country.

It judges the students on the basis of Quantitative aptitude QA, Verbal Aptitude VA, Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation DI, & Logical Reasoning LR

An Aspirant can apply in the month of August every year when the notification for CAT is published on its official website. The candidate has to answer three sections in three hours’ time, each section to be answered in sixty minutes.

 

 

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2020

All India Management Association (AIMA) is the conducting authority that organizes Management Aptitude Test (MAT) every year. All India Management Association (AIMA) is conducting this exam since 1988 for the admission in various B- Schools.

All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts this exam for admission in MBA/PGDM courses and allied programs over 600+ management institutes and business schools across India.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT-2021)

 

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance test. It is organized as per the directions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. This test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for more than 1000 colleges and institutes.

CMAT is a computer-based online Test. Aspirants can apply online form through CMAT website in the month of November every year.

CMAT facilitate the institutes to select suitable aspirants for admission in all management institutes and programmes approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) under the guideline of MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development)

This exams also help the students to reduce their stress of appearing in various entrance exams, it also reduces their mental, physical, and financial stress by providing a common platform for all management courses.

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the main organizing body that organizes the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

Candidate can register for GMAT just after 16 days of appearing in the exam & can give the exam five times in a year. It is an international level entrance exam which is held round the year.

Candidates have to be very careful during the selection of the date and day of examination. He/ She should register and choose a date in such a way that he should get ample time for the preparation.

GMAT score is also considered by most of the B-schools for management programmes. Aspirants who are interested to pursue MBA or other Post Graduate programme in management can fill their form by visiting the official website of GMAT.

GMAT is the most acceptable entrance exam for PG courses in management all over the world, almost all global admissions accept GMAT scores.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)

 

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the university level exam conducts by the Symbiosis University. The online registration is starting in August every year.

SNAP is held for admission in management programmes of constituent institutions under Symbiosis University.

Every year more than one lakh students take SNAP to get admission in 16 institutes of MBA having 2500 seats.

SNAP is now computer-based exam as CAT and other management tests. SNAP releases its notification mostly in the first week of August and closes registration window by 3rd week of august.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)-MBA

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is one of the most famous universities in Cochin which was founded in the year 1971. It is a government-owned autonomous Science & Technology University in Kochi, Kerala.

Candidates who wish to seek admission in CUSAT MBA programme, are shortlisted through KMAT/CMAT/MAT//CAT score, group discussion (GD) & personal interviews.

CUSAT is a university level examination conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) for admission to B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Phil, M.Voc, MCA, M.sc and other university programmes.

Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)    

Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of management studies (NMIMS). NMAT is a postgraduate university level entrance test which selects candidates for the admission in MBA courses in NMIMS Mumbai.

This entrance test was conducted to pursue MBA or other graduate management degree programmes in various institutions that accept NMAT scores.

A candidate can appear for NMAT maximum up to three times.

IBSAT 2020

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad is the main conducting authority that organizes the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT). IBSAT is a university level entrance that organizes for admission in various management programmes/PhD offered by ICFAI University & all India’s ICFAI Business School.

GMAT/NMAT/CAT scores are also accepted for 2020 management programmes & candidates may not apply for IBSAT if he has good score at GMAT/NMAT/CAT.

IBS offered two years MBA/PGPM programmes for the aspirants who want to pursue their post-graduate from reputed institutes under ICFAI.

ISBAT is an online computer-based test for admission in 9 ICFAI Business Schools of India.

ISBAT is a two hours test where 140 MCQs are asked.

ISBAT institutions are situated at Hyderabad, Jaipur, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune & Kolkata.

ATMA – Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS)

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conducts a national level entrance exam four times in a year that is known as ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions). It is conducted in the month of February, May, July, and August.

It is one of the powerful bodies of B-schools in India. It has over 600 institutes as its member. Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is formed in 1988. It is an excellent platform for the candidates to get admission in the best B- Schools of India. It has many institutes as its associates which takes ATMA score as a base for the MBA or other management programmes.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is organized by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI). This is a national level entrance exam.

After CAT & MAT, XAT is one of the famous entrance tests for admission in management programs. The XAT gives the opportunity to the aspirants to apply for PG admissions in management.

XAT score is used by more than 150 institutes for admission in PG programmes.
