Hindu College (University of Delhi)

Hindu College is a constituent college of Delhi University spread in 25 acres of land at north campus. It is established in 1899 by Krishna Dassji Gurwale at Kinari Bazar Chandni Chowk, Delhi, Later shifted to Kashmiri Gate and now it is in North Campus. It is the most preferred college for Undergraduate and Post Graduate course in Science, Social Science, Humanities, and Commerce.

At National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) it is ranked 2nd in 2019. It is also awarded status of star college for its Department of Biotechnology by Ministry of Science and Technology.

Hindi college is a dream college for most of the aspirants, Due to high cut off most of the student is not able to get admission in this college.

The College has produced many notable (infra) alumni in the fields of law, economics, science, psychology, business, literature, media, cinema, military, and politics. Notwithstanding its name, students from all religions are admitted to Hindu College.

Hindu college has an academic staff of 120 and it has the capacity to admit 2500 students in different streams. The college has a 2020 vision to expand the student strength of over 4500. This expansion purpose, it requires an educational and administrative block.

  2. Class X mark sheet
  3. Class XII mark sheet
  4. Character Certificate
  5. SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificates issued by the competent authority.
  6. Transfer/ Migration Certificate from Board/ University
